Meet the Practitioner
Founder, Practitioner, and Equine Wellness Partner
Thriving EQ reflects my belief that true performance and wellness emerge from a trifecta of balance: the physiological, the mental, and the partnership between horse and human. My work lives at the intersection of evidence‑based kinesiology and intuitive somatic healing, supporting horses in developing comfort, clarity, and embodied ease.
I approach each session as a conversation with the horse—listening through tissue, posture, breath, and behavior. This blend of science and intuition allows me to identify patterns, support recovery, and help horses move with greater freedom and confidence. My goal is always to meet the horse where they are, honor what they share, and help them return to a state of balance.
The name Thriving EQ honors both Emotional Intelligence and the profound Equine–Equestrian connection. I believe horses thrive when their physical body, mental state, and relational environment are in harmony. When these three levels align, performance becomes effortless, learning becomes joyful, and partnership becomes deeply connected.
After more than two decades in corporate and technology leadership, I felt called to build a practice that blended my analytical mind with my intuitive nature. Horses have always been my grounding force, and equine massage offered a way to merge science, somatics, and partnership into something meaningful and transformative.
My training includes advanced equine anatomy, kinesiology, pathology, TCM meridians, acupressure, and energetic modalities. I’m certified nationally and licensed in Washington State and committed to ongoing education, ethical practice, and evidence‑informed care. Every horse I work with teaches me something new, and that curiosity fuels my practice.
Horses communicate constantly through movement, tension, breath, and subtle shifts.
Wellness is relational—the horse’s environment, workload, and partnership matter as much as their muscles.
Science and intuition are not opposites they are complementary tools that deepen understanding.
Every horse deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and understood.
Owners deserve clear, compassionate education so they can support their horse between sessions.
These values shape every interaction, every session, and every resource I create.
When you invite me into your horse’s world, I bring presence, curiosity, and respect. I collaborate with owners, trainers, veterinarians, and farriers to support the whole horse. My work is not just about releasing tension—it’s about helping horses feel seen, helping owners feel empowered, and strengthening the partnership that makes everything possible.
